"Buy Now" Buttons

Once you have a site set up with descriptions of your products on it, all that has to be done is to add simple "Buy Now" links or buttons on any product description on any page on your website. When one of your customers clicks on one of these links they are presented with a page showing their current basket with that item added. They can choose to change any of the quantities, delete items or move on to the payments section.

Once a customer places an order you and your customer are notified immediately by e-mail. The e-mail will contain details of what the customer ordered.

Payment Gateways

One mechanism we support is to save credit card data for you to pick up from the Administration interface later and process how you like.

If you wish to have credit cards processed in real time then you will need to use a Payment Gateway such as WorldPay. We list below some of the third-party payment processors we can integrate your shop with.

Payment Bureau

A payment bureau is the easiest way of taking payments online as they do all the work for you.
Bureaus accept most type of business and have a simple application process. However, they take 30-60 days to clear merchant’s funds and charge more for their service.

A Payment Bureau like WorldPay WorldDirect is a one-stop solution collecting and processing the card details on behalf of the business without requiring an Internet Merchant Service with an Acquiring Bank or a separate Payment Service Provider to be set up. Their simple application process makes bureau services an ideal solution for a SMEs' first step into e-commerce.

A bureau collects funds via credit or debit cards using its own acquiring service. The bureaus in the UK will generally accept most types of business with a business bank account and an address that confirms the identity of the business.

Bank Acquired

An alternative to the above is to use a Payment Service Provider such as SECPay, WorldPay BankDirect or ePDQ, together with an acquiring bank.

Person-to-Person Payment

Person-to-Person payments require an on-line mini bank account and are available at a very small cost. They can be used by on-line retailers to obtain payments. They can be effective but are time consuming and purchases require a two transaction process. Providers include PayPal and Nochex.
