Google Advertising Professional Programme
We were one of the first Google Advertising Professionals to reach Qualified
status.
Qualified Google Advertising Professionals have passed the Google Advertising
Professional Exam and have met other requirements in order to achieve this level
of recognition. Professionals who attain the Qualified title receive:
- Google's recognition as a Qualified and tested AdWords professional.
- The official Qualified Google Advertising Professional Logo, which can be
displayed on their website, and other materials to showcase their skills and
help attract clients.
- Distinction as a skilled professional.
To become a Qualified Google Advertising Professional, we needed to
accomplish the following:
- Sign up for the programme successfully and be in good standing. This means
that we have accepted the Rules of Use and are not in violation of them.
- Manage at least one AdWords account (ours or someone else's) in "My Client
Centre" for 90 days.
- Build and maintain at least US$1,000 total spend for our "My Client
Centre" account during the 90-day period. (We have far exceeded this and the
previous requirement!)
- Pass the Google Advertising Professional Exam.
The Advertising Professionals Programme Rules
Being a Google Advertising Professional
This is a non-exclusive programme. The Google Advertising
Professional features and these Rules do not empower either you or Google to
obligate, bind or act as agent for the other in any way and do not create a
joint venture, employment relationship, partnership, or other business entity of
any kind. You: (i) are responsible for your acts and omissions; (ii) must not
violate any Google policies, Google terms and conditions, applicable laws or
regulations; (iii) must not practise any deceptive, illegal, unethical, false or
misleading practices with regard to your participation as a Google Advertising
Professional; and (iv) must obtain all consents, authorisations and permits
required for you to perform under and related to these Rules, including without
limitation to act on behalf of and bind to these Rules, any third party to whom
you provide AdWords Programme related services. Nothing in these Rules grants
any implied rights to you whether warranties, conditions, terms or otherwise.
Google retains all of its right, title and interest in and to all of its
intellectual property.
Performing as a Google Advertising Professional
You must perform under these Rules and service your AdWords
programme customers in a professional, responsive and workmanlike manner
consistent with reasonable industry standards and in accordance with these
Rules. To the extent any other features, programmes, materials or tools (e.g.
APIs, marketing collateral, testing programmes or logos) are supplied by Google
and you choose to use them, you must use them only consistent with these Rules
and any additional terms supplied by Google for those features. You are
responsible for collecting payment from your customers and remitting any due
payments to Google consistent with your Terms and Conditions. You agree and must
notify your customers that you are not employed, endorsed or approved by, or a
contractor of, Google or any of its affiliates. PARTICIPATING IN THE GOOGLE
ADVERTISING PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME IS A PRIVILEGE THAT MAY BE TERMINATED BY
GOOGLE AT ANY TIME FOR ANY OR NO REASON.
