Site Specification

The TeleCity Manchester site offers a secure, resilient environment for hosting customer platforms through the following utilities, connectivity, security, cooling/fire suppression and support specifications:

TeleCity has 2 diverse routes consisting of multiple ducts entering the building at either end of the facility; cables are routed securely to internally located ODFs in the meet-me room located in Kilburn House.

All cabling within the facility is controlled by TeleCity. Carrier feeds are diverse and secure.

All cabling is anonymous. TeleCity uses a cable infrastructure database which is updated every time circuits are added or removed.

Security:

• 24x7 on-site manned.
• Customer access list, Smart Card, escorted visitation. CCTV throughout the facility.
• Cooling/fire suppression:
• Temperature of 220C (±20) in equipment zone. IFD incipient detection system.

Support:

• Rack Installation.
• 24x7 on-site engineering.
